Hello there!
It’s been a while since I last updated the website – and that’s because I’ve been busily writing my new novel! More details on this project to come, but I can report that it’s a story about a young woman recruited to MI5 at the beginning of the Second World War who becomes embroiled in the dangerous investigation of an extreme-right group. I’ve loved writing it and I can’t wait to see it out in the world.
Since Bad Behaviour was published, I’ve also been working hard on expanding Kill Your Darlings’ magazine and our workshop series. We have converted all our in-person events online so we can reach more emerging writers around Australia and across the world. We now offer workshops that tackle motivation, routine and finding inspiration, as well as writing historical fiction, memoir, short stories, creative non-fiction essays, young-adult fiction, speculative fiction, journalism and crime/thrillers.
